Tomorrow X Together, commonly referred to as TXT’s minisode 3: Tomorrow, is the Korean boy band’s sixth EP, comprised of seven songs: six new ones and a remix of one from this new album. Ever since their debut in 2019, TXT has been consistently entertaining and blowing away their fans with a variety of content and amazing albums that seem to be released yearly. The dedication these five men put into their music is phenomenal. It seems we are about to embark on a new chapter of TXT, with this minisode acting like a prelude or at least a break between chapters, which is a trend for the group.
The first song I heard from TXT was Sugar Rush Ride, released in 2023 in the Name Chapter: Temptation. I’m still new to TXT and a new MOA. Their delicate vocals, synchronizing dances, and amazing visuals and videography of their MVs are what caused me to become a fan of them. I also became engrossed in their lives and have fully appreciated the unique personalities of the members of TXT, which show in their music, etc. The newest album from TXT deals with themes of looking to the future with the profound hope that all things will go well. How does TXT’s newest album fare with the rest of their discography?

Harmonies of Hope for a Better Future:
The first song of the EP is “I’ll See You There Tomorrow.” Being that the theme of the album is all about hope for the future, I like how funky electronic drum beats were implemented throughout the song. It gives upbeat club music vibes, which I’ve always enjoyed. The pretty blending vocals from the group provide a sense of hope. The repetitiveness of the verse shows their eagerness to see the future onward in a positive light. It also tells of faith in reuniting, making this song one of my two favorite tracks on the album.
The next song, well, if you can consider it a song at all, is more like a form of artistic expression and is “– — – — .-.-.-. — .–.” It’s five seconds of Morse code that says “tomorrow,” and it acts as a prelude to “Deja Vu,” which is the title track. Despite it not being a song, the Morse code represents the future TXT wants the world to create together and represents their hope that in the future, the world will be a better place if just a little bit.
Next, we have perhaps my favorite song in the album, “Deja Vu.” The song mainly contains a robust melodic chorus, with the vocals giving an ethereal vibe to the whole track. The vocals are powerfully beautiful, defining the term “power ballad.” The song details a person running away from fear and ultimately coming to terms with it as a feeling of familiarity, finding solace and clarity in the situation they’re in. This fear is that they won’t reunite with someone they love in the future, and the lyrics really pair well with these emotional voices. The instrumentals create an atmospheric mood throughout the track. The guitar at the end is very fitting for the power ballad, and the higher vocals underlying the harmonic, deeper ones are a great way to end the song. I wish the synth underneath the melodies were more prominent, as the hi-hat of the drums is a little overpowering at times.
Before I move on to the next song, I want to discuss the Anemoia Remix of this song. The instrumentals in this version make the song feel much more emo rock than the original, as the guitar is stronger, and, therefore, the emotions are expressed much greater. Both versions are good, but the production was more rushed than the original version, it seems, being a remix and all.
“Miracle” is the next song, and it is an electronic rock piece. The story is mainly about the members of TXT reminding themselves that they shouldn’t take those around them for granted, looking back on the past miraculous relationships and reminiscing how things will change in the future. It’s not emo rock like “Deja Vu” and has more of an acoustic vibe to it despite it using rock instruments.
The following two songs are uniquely split into subunits. Firstly, “The Killa (I belong to You)” is sung by the two oldest members of TXT, Soobin and Yeonjun. This song is very much Afro-inspired. It has a solid afro-beat influence and a sensual feeling, making it a powerful serenade. Through the gorgeous vocals paired with the acoustic guitar, a story of someone longing for affection is expressed. It really is a feel-good song. The music is slow and softer, which I’ve always had a hard time getting into, but despite being my least favorite song, I still rather enjoy it.
The album’s final song is “Quater Life,” and it’s sung by the remaining members, Huening Kai, Beomgyu, and Taehyun. This song is such an optimistic-sounding song. This song is sung as the name suggests to get the three through a struggle and crisis they’re going through. Music is a means to push them through hard times and helps them be optimistic and anticipate what is happening in the future. This song is a rock ballad similar to “Deja Vu” but much more powerful vocal-wise. You can hear the emotional strain in the member’s voices, and I love the song for that. The song abruptly ends, representing how one sings because they’re in a painful moment but stops when it’s over, no matter if it seems abrupt.

When the Wishing Goes Well:
Overall, I liked how all these songs connected to the future, mainly about looking forward to tomorrow. I didn’t come into the album with any expectations, but all of the songs I heard were unique and were all so good in their own ways. You had powerful rock ballads, softer acoustic ballads, electronic synth club music, and afro-inspired music. I liked the subunit songs that gave every individual member of TXT a moment to let their vocals shine. This album is currently one of my favorites from them; with this being said, there wasn’t anything I truly hated. I feel that some of the songs could be longer, and there are points where the volume of specific instruments should be either quieter or louder, but overall, TXT amazed me again. Just like they are looking forward to the future, I will do so for the future of TXT and their future releases.
